Peru - Machu and Huayna Picchu

It would be impossible to try to sum up our Machu Picchu experience in words so I won’t even try.  There were highs and there were lows.  There were challenges and there were moments of joy.  The allure of Machu Picchu for most is the journey and the destination.  For our family, the journey was the destination.  The boyz never stopped moving.  Even when they said they were tired they wanted to keep moving, to see more, to climb higher.  It was extraordinary to see.  There were plenty of moments when we thought the adventure was too much, but the boyz kept impressing us with their stubbornness.  I honestly believe that it is an experience that they will never forget.  Hopefully this video helps explain why.

And if you’re wondering if Elad ever recovered from altitude sickness, absolutely! He woke up as if he was back at sea-level. #GoodbyeSoroche

We’re doing our best to enjoy it all- tough at times but it’s been rewarding for all! Will try to send you some warmth- I hear it’s been terribly cold there :(. See you soon!

Such an amazing place!!! Seeing this video brought back memories of my trip years ago. Uncle Stuart and I were the only ones of the group who climbed Waynapicchu. So impressed with the boys...that is quite a climb. Even with the uncooperative weather it looks like you all had a great time. Loving all the updates, pics and videos of your adventures. Can't wait for more! Hugs to all of you!!
